FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What materials are used and what level of radiation do they protect against?

These suits feature lead‑rubber composite material (~0.35 mm Pb equivalence), effectively attenuating X‑rays and moderate-energy nuclear radiation (e.g., Cs‑137 gamma rays). They are also anti‑static, flame‑resistant, and acid/base-resistant—ideal for nuclear incidents, medical/X‑ray work, and radioactive spill handling.

Is the integrated design practical and easy to wear/remove?

The one‑piece suit features Velcro across the chest and abdomen for quick wear and removal. It includes gloves, boots, and a full‑face mask—delivering a complete protective setup without additional assembly.

What’s the gas mask filtration system like, and how long does it last?

The gas mask uses a 40 mm filter canister, offering 360° vision and up to 10 years shelf life. It protects against nuclear, chemical, pandemic threats—including nerve agents and radioactive particulates.

How heavy and mobile is the suit? Is it suitable for emergency response?

Despite containing lead shielding, the design balances protection and mobility. It allows functional movement during wear. We also recommend pairing the suit with an NBC over-pressure filtration unit for better breathing and comfort.

Can the suit protect against gamma radiation?

The suit is designed to shield against X-rays and moderate-energy gamma rays. For high-energy gamma (e.g., nuclear blast fallout), additional measures—such as substantial lead shielding or underground shelter—are essential. Radiation protection remains a matter of time, distance, and shielding.

Are there shipping restrictions and license requirements?

As non‑military items, these radiation suits are generally shipable worldwide. However, some regions may require material specifications or compliance documentation for customs clearance. Contact customer service for export support.
